I am Pedro Juan Moreno.
Proudly Colombian Pilot
I am a young Colombian pilot, 16 years old. Son of Santiago (a former racing driver from whom I inherited my love for motorsports) and Liana, my biggest fan and guide. I am also the brother and accomplice of Martín, the perfect teammate in all my adventures.
My passion has always been the world of motorsports. This has been particularly challenging because, in my hometown of Medellín, while we love motorsports, we lack spaces to practice them.
For this reason, and for over 10 years, I had to use my creativity to make up for the lack of spaces to develop my talent in racing. Today, thanks to dedication, discipline, and the personal and athletic growth instilled in me by my family and trainers, I have earned an important position as a professional driver both nationally and now internationally.
This is my story, and this is what, together with my team, we have achieved so far:
Team PJM
Although it may seem that great performance in the world of racing is solely due to a skilled driver, we are convinced that success is only achieved through teamwork.
I am currently part of Team Virage, founded in 1998 by Philippe Gautheron, which has achieved numerous successes in single-seater series, ranging from Formula Junior 1.6 and Formula 3 to the Open Telefónica by Nissan, now better known as the Renault World Series.
In 2011, Gautheron created Virage Academy, with Julien Gerbi joining to support the physical, mental, and technical preparation of drivers. Among them, Sergio Pérez, Vitaly Petrov, Giedo Van der Garde, Rio Haryanto, and over 60 other drivers have benefited from Virage Academy’s services.
In the winter of 2017-2018, Team Virage was born to compete in LMP3 within European endurance series such as ELMS, VdeV, and the Le Mans Cup.
Since 2021, Team Virage has been competing full-time in ELMS, Le Mans Cup, and Ultimate Cup Series.
